IKEA – OUR PLANET IS OUR HOME

CHALLENGE

Promote and educate people about the key messages of the brand for 2021-22: « Our planet is our Home ».

Communicate IKEA’s core values ​​and its CSR goals by 2030 while showing that sustainability goes hand in hand with design, inspiration, desirability and affordability.

ACTION PLAN

Creation of an event during the Paris Design Week: an immersive journey combining artistic scenographies, practical solutions and a dedicated cafeteria « Bistrot vegétal ».

During 3 days : 1 day for PR + 2 days for the public:

  • Implementation of key messages (manifesto)
  • Staging of the raw materials essential to the design of its products: recycled plastic, bamboo, cardboard
  • « Bistro Végétal » with a tasting of the famous « meatballs» …with no meat as they are plant based and vegetarian
  • Iconic IKEA hacks (the art of transforming furniture and decorative objects to give them a second life)

RESULTS

  • 1591 participants, 121 journalists & influencers
  • 40 clippings including l’Obs, Intramuros, Journal des femmes, L’internaute
  • 128 post and stories on IG
